To Catch a liar

Pinning the tail on the Donkey

Obama and the Democrats have been exposed for the liars that they are.  So, what do pathological liars do best?  They layer the lies with more lies.  What a tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive.  Obama stood in front of the camera's on 30 different occasions, not to mention other venues, and had the first lie immortalized in stone.  Irrefutable, undeniably caught telling millions of Americans that "If you want to keep your current health insurance policy, you can -- Period!"

So, when Americans started to receive their notices that insurers sent advising their policies were being cancelled it was all according to his plan.  The gifted orator could simply spin his way by denying and lying all the while the MSM has his flank.

Now, with millions poised to lose their coverage if the Obamacare website doesn't activate and enroll them the pressure is building because his new lie has this dynamic woven into it --

"If we had allowed these old plans [to continue]… then we would have broken an even more important promise — making sure that Americans gain access to health care that doesn’t leave them one illness away from financial ruin,” he announced.

“So the bottom line is, is that we are making the insurance market better for everybody"

A couple of things come to mind here.  First "If we had allowed these old plans" indicates malice that they never intended for them to continue.  Second, with millions of American actually losing their health care instead of "making sure that Americans gain access to health care" is a contradiction.  When the calls for legislation to grandfather these millions to ensure they will not lose their coverage which will certainly come up because of intense political pressure will Obama sign on the dotted line?  What do you think?

  1. They never intended for them to continue. Single payer (government) insurance is the underlying objective it has always been. Getting people to that point would have been an electoral disaster for the president and congressional Democrats, so they had to pave the way with false promises.

They could not have NOT known that insurance companies would drop plans to meet regulation and/or because of new fiscal realities. Democrats have heard of unintended consequences but these consequences were fully, albeit secretly, intended.

  2. Thanks for visiting. I agree that the ultimate goal was "single payer" because they have openly said this is their wishes. I have to disagree that they "could NOT know" about the cancellations because as early as June 2010 they did. The only thing they didn't know was the sheer number. Their assumptions were 10MM and it will go way above that. Here is the link to Bloomberg:
