The picture is coming into focus

Let's take a trip down memory lane, on April 7, 2009 the Department of Homeland Security issued an unclassified report titled (link embedded below):

This report caused an uproar on many of it's findings but the one that came out as the most radical and disturbing was -- "(U//FOUO) Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities."

As you are aware, the Democrats (and I mean only the Democrats) across the country, at all levels of County, City, State and Federal are pushing to disarm us.  Some of those who are spearheading this since the Newton tragedy are ambiguous and deceitful about their true aims, but some are blatant in their opinion that time has come for Americans to give up their arms, Constitution be damned.

Now, I find the next news item very disturbing indeed -- The Veterans Administration is sending out scores of letters to Veterans telling them they are "ineligible" to posses or own firearms because they have been "proposed finding of incompetency"!

The incompetency can either be of physical or mental disability as there is no clear delineation of the policy at VA describing just what "incompetency" means.

I went back and re-read the DHS memo (linked above) and quickly came to the realization that everything in this report will become a "self fulfilling prophecy"!

  1. I question the VA thing. I read a lot of milblogs and have never seen that mentioned so far and many of these blogs would put this front and center.

You'll read about it here first I'd say - http://thisainthell.us/

  2. First, it's a good thing to question anyone who is blogging for accuracy. If you notice in my article I attach a credible link (which goes to the USJF -- United States Justice Foundation) to a legal advocacy group who was approached by several veterans that actually received the letter (which the website for USJF attached the exact letter for all to see) for help them fight. The USJF is filing a "Freedom of Information Act" request from the Verterans Dept to get to the bottom of this. Please, don't take my word for it, click the link and then tell those milblogs about what you have found if they don't already know, if you then find it credible. That said, I did my part in furthering the story here first.
