Fearing a successful Black Man - Unless its BHO
Canada Free Press -- "They should all step back and examine the question, ‘just what is racism, and how does it affect me?’?
Dr. David Goetsch writes the following which simplifies the understanding of this question:
“Blacks of today are no longer being beaten or lynched, but they are still being slapped down. And it is still Democrats who are doing the slapping. Blacks who stray from the plantation of government entitlements and object to the nanny mentality of Democrats are quickly labeled “Uncle Toms,” “Oreos,” or worse. They are attacked mercilessly and unrelentingly by Democrats who thought they had bought their loyalty by meting out government entitlements.”
You all have probably either read of heard the pejoratives coming from not only Democrats but other black Democrats that are far worse than the “Uncle Toms” or “Oreos” mentioned above and in fact are so offensive that I will not list them here out of deference to the sensitivities of the people affected.
Goetsch also makes a key statement linking his feelings of his childhood recollections and the happenings of today, here:
“Just as there was nothing worse in the eyes of the Democrats of my childhood than a self-reliant, enterprising black man who could stand on his own two feet and face the world on his own terms, there is nothing worse to today’s Democrats than a black man who refuses to be held in bondage by hypocritical liberals who fear nothing more than his independence and success.”"
General Colin Powell -- Uncle Tom
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice - Aunt Jemima
Congressional Black Caucus and their racist, communist fellow travellers
Harry Belefonte 2002 radio interview -- "Secretary of State Colin Powell, by virtue of his service in the George W. Bush administration, was a traitor to African Americans"
Harry Belefonte Larry King interview -- "There's an old saying [that] in the days of slavery, there [were] those slaves who lived on the plantation, and there were those slaves who lived in the house. You got the privilege of living in the house if you served the master. Colin Powell was permitted to come into the house of the master ... in the service of those who not only perpetuate the oppression, but sometimes design the way in which it is applied."
Belafonte on National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice --he likened to a Jew “doing things that were anti-Semitic and against the best interests of her people.” Three years later, Belafonte revisited this theme of “race treason” by black Republicans when he said, “Hitler had a lot of Jews high up in the hierarchy of the Third Riech” -- implying that such Jews were, at that time, the equivalent of conservative blacks in the post-2000 Bush administration.
In January 2003 Father Michael Pfleger, a liberation theologian and the pastor of Saint Sabina Catholic Church in Chicago, invited Belafonte to be a guest speaker at a Sunday Mass. During his talk there, Belafonte blamed the United States for the events of 9/11: “We [Americans] move about the world arrogantly, calling wars when we want, overthrowing governments when we want. There is a price to be paid for it -- look at 9/11. [That] wasn’t just bin Laden. Bin Laden didn’t come from the abstract. He came from somewhere, and if you look where ... you’ll see America’s hand of villainy.”
Speaking at a 2004 Human Rights Award Ceremony in San Francisco, Belafonte reiterated that millions of people around the world were afflicted by disease and poverty as a direct result of "vast America’s villainy" and the U.S. "military industrial complex."
In September 2005 Belafonte spoke at a town hall meeting of the Congressional Black Caucus's 35th Annual Legislative Conference. The event featured some of the leading figures of the Democratic Party and was nominally devoted to the subject of "eradicating poverty." (A webcast of the meeting can be accessed here.) When he stepped to the podium, Belafonte impugned Republicans for “punishing” blacks for their resistance to segregation; he denounced the American criminal-justice system and its “prisons filled with victims of poverty”; he condemned U.S. foreign policy for having "made a wreck of this planet”; and he exhorted blacks to rise up and “let George Bush and the Christian Right know that their legs have just been amputated.” -- Discover the Networks
On Page 4 of the 35th Annual Legislative Conference newsletter linked above is a photo op with Belefonte and then Senator Barack Obama standing side by side.
The Chairman of the CBC Legislative Council was Rep. William Jefferson who's house was raided by Federal Agents the month before and found $90,000 in his freezer. Jefferson was eventually convicted in 2006 of corruption and sentenced to prison for 13 years. He started serving that sentence in May 2012.
Other notable CBC member controversies:
John Conyers -- Wife plead guilty to bribery ($60,000) and sentenced to 37 months in prison.
Alcee Hastings -- "In 1977, he became a judge of the circuit court of Broward County, Florida. In 1979, he was appointed by President Carter as a U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida.
In 1981, Hastings was charged with accepting a $150,000 bribe in exchange for a lenient sentence and a return of seized assets for 21 counts of racketeering by Frank and Thomas Romano, and of perjury in his testimony about the case. In 1983, he was acquitted by a jury after his alleged co-conspirator, William Borders, refused to testify in court (resulting in a jail sentence for Borders).
In 1988, the Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives took up the case, and Hastings was impeached for bribery and perjury by a vote of 413-3. He was then convicted in 1989 by the United States Senate, becoming the sixth federal judge in the history of the United States to be removed from office by the Senate. The Senate, in two hours of roll calls, voted on 11 of the 17 articles of impeachment. It convicted Hastings of eight of the 11 articles. The vote on the first article was 69 for and 26 opposed, providing five votes more than the two-thirds of those present that were needed to convict. The first article accused the judge of conspiracy. Conviction on any single article was enough to remove the judge from office. The Senate vote cut across party lines, with Senator Patrick J. Leahy, Democrat of Vermont, voting to convict his fellow party member, and Senator Arlen Specter, Republican of Pennsylvania, voting to acquit.
The Senate had the option to forbid Hastings from ever seeking federal office again, but did not do so. Alleged co-conspirator, attorney William Borders went to jail again for refusing to testify in the impeachment proceedings, but was later given a full pardon by President Bill Clinton on his last day in office."
Interesting note that the "rock star" speaker at the 2012 DNC convention for Barack Obama was Clinton, a convicted purjurer who earlier gave a pardon (on his last day in office) to a man protecting Hastings from perjury. It is also along these lines that the 2012 DNC paraded feminist speakers to highlite the GOP war on women then had Clinton speak. If you remember is was Juanita Broderick who claimed Clinton raped her and then we have the reason for the perjury against Clinton, Monica Lewinsky. Yep, Clinton is a friend to all women, everywhere. It is no wonder why Hillery was 10,000 miles away during his speech.
Jesse Jackson, Jr. -- Bi-polar depression forced him into in treatment when the long arm of the law was beating down his door for his role in the Obama Senate Seat "blue light sale" that snagged a whole gaggle of Obama friends into jail. Blagojevich & Rezko to name two.
Bobby Rush -- Best described in two words -- Black Panthers. He was also fierce in his support, before all the facts are in, of Travon Martin as a victim vs. perpetrator.
Maxine Waters -- "According to Chuck Neubauer and Ted Rohrlich writing in the LA Times in 2004, Maxine Waters' relatives had made more than $1 million during the preceding eight years by doing business with companies, candidates and causes that Waters had helped. They claimed she and her husband helped a company get government bond business, and her daughter Karen Waters and son Edward Waters have profited from her connections. Waters replied that "They do their business and I do mine."
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) named Waters to its list of corrupt members of Congress in its 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2011 reports. Citizens Against Government Waste named her the June 2009 Porker of the Month due to her intention to obtain an earmark for the Maxine Waters Employment Preparation Center.
Waters' husband is a stockholder and former director of OneUnited Bank and the bank's executives were major contributors to her campaigns. In September 2008, Waters arranged meetings between U.S. Treasury Department officials and OneUnited Bank, so that the bank could plead for federal cash. It had been heavily invested in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and its capital was "all but wiped out" after the U.S. government took them over. The bank received $12 million in Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) money. The matter is currently being investigated by the House Ethics Committee, and the case maybe further delayed until the end of the present legislative session (January 3rd, 2013).
Alan West -- Talking about being behind enemy lines, Alan West is a brave soldier for joining this racist and communist to the core body. He is everything that the Democrats are afraid of -- A successful, stand on your own two feet kinda of man who is Christian and a patriot. The fact that he insulted the entire body of the caucus when he delivered Chik-fil-A lunches to a recent meeting says it all about his thinker and theirs. I wonder if they need 3 votes to invoke the word God into their proceedings?
