Obamacare's positive effects

There is a lot to be said of behavioral science.

The term behavioral sciences encompasses all the disciplines that explore the activities of and interactions among organisms in the natural world. It involves the systematic analysis and investigation of human and animal behavior through controlled and naturalistic observation, and disciplined scientific experimentation. It attempts to accomplish legitimate, objective conclusions through rigorous formulations and observation. Examples of behavioral sciences include psychology, psychobiology, and cognitive science. - Wikipedia

Obamacare is, to the left, what Ronald Reagan is to Conservatism and their lifelong pursuit of socialized medicines Utopian dreams.  The whole concept of theirs is predicated on lies and false assumptions that was forced down America's throat when the left had control of all three branches of our Government.  The law was written behind secret and closed doors and passed in the dead of night.  Now, we get to sit back as individuals and see this grand social experiment implode under it's own weight.  While we wait for the impending implosion we get to observe the left's behavior in their own cultural petrie dish, thus the positive effects I speak of.

Here are some of those effects that I consider positive:

Nanci Pelosi's downfall and the wrenching of her gavel from her politically dead fingers.  The 2010 midterm landslide defeats of those in the left that effected this whole charade of "insurance reform" was one of the first tangible "effects" reverberating outward from the law.  If Nanci Pelosi and others wanted to know what was in store for their political futures, then they were going to have to read the election results after they passed this law.

One of the most delicious and savory moments I have witnessed to date thought has to do with the very Federal organization that is tasked with Obamacare oversight responsibilities is the IRS and their Union.

"National Treasury Employees Union officials are urging members to write their congressional representatives in opposition to receiving coverage through President Obama’s health care law." -- Washington Examiner

The left insist that everyone else be forced into this systems unless you are a card carrying member of the liberal elites.  The petrie dish is under our microscope and watching the amoeba's fight it out in the swill of their own making is telling.  The hypocrisy is on display and we see it occur in real time.

The latest news of this behavioral infighting that isn't quite related to Obamacare is playing itself out in the news.  This time it is between two left powerhouse stalwarts:  The ACLU and the UAW.  Being a good leftist organization the ACLU has been, for a long time, a union shop for it's office workers and it is "collective bargaining time" again.  ACLU management insists they are operating under an $8 million dollar deficit and therefore want their workers to contribute $20 per month towards their own health care insurance.  Union officials, being Union officials, are picketing the ACLU headquarters in protest.  Chants on the street can be heard loud and clear -- "ACLU says giveback, we say fight back!”  Oh, and the other issue that the UAW is fighting is one little clause that the ACLU wants to include in the contract that will allow them to terminate an employee for -- "loyalty clause"!  Though the language doesn't specify what is deemed "unloyal" I think we know as outside observers into our little microscopes.  Delicious, I say.
