Eric Massa – Poster Child for “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”

The MSM makes the argument against repealing the policy!

President Obama, Joseph Biden and even high ranking military generals have caught the political correct bug and have begun another run at repealing the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.

The highly publicized push has been in the headlines for the last 30-60 days and seems to be on the verge of possibility. They argue that gays should be allowed to serve openly in the military without fear of retribution. Sounds nice, right? Feels good, right?

The coherence in the military chain of command needs to be firm and personal distractions prevent that coherence. This is why homosexuals in the military are not so popular not to mention that the majority of Americans are against it.

Now, Representative Eric Massa has been in the headlines lately for his “unwanted advances” of a sexual nature against male staffers. This issue is what sunk (no pun intended to his naval service) his political career which, by the way, I must remind the readers that Congress does not have a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy of their own.

It is ironic that the MSM, who are champions of the efforts to repeal the military policy on gays openly serving in our military are now drudging up Massa’s homosexual behavior while he served in the Navy.

According to a former subordinate shipmate of Massa’s this behavior of “unwanted homosexual advances” was prevalent during his Navy service (see video here). I guess the shipmates didn’t get the memo that this behavior is acceptable to the Democrats who are active in repealing the policy! I think they just refuse to watch Keith Overbite.
