So, how is that revised war on terror going for Obama? His Administration has changed the terminology of the GWOT to “overseas contingency operations” and that acts of terror terminology is now “man made disasters” all in an effort to show Muslims that we are not at war with them. This was preceded by the “Presidential Executive Order” to immediately begin closing and moving the inmates of Guantanamo to US soil. Obama’s first press conference was held in a Muslim country on a Muslim news site.
The Ft. Hood massacre news story broke and the immediate claim was made that “this was not an act of terror” or a “man made disaster” if you will. We first heard that 3 soldiers perpetrated the shootings and then a little clarity followed shortly thereafter which made Americans question the claim that it was not terror related when the shooter (who, at the time was listed as killed) had a “Muslim name” – Major Nidal Malik Hasan (born to Jordanian Parents).
It was highly unfortunate for the MSM and the Obama Administration that the 3 soldiers were not “white males” that perpetrated the act. When Hasan’s name was revealed as the shooter “red flags” were immediately raised about the quick pronouncements that it was not “terror related”. I know, I know, those are paranoid thoughts of racism and insensitivity that are just the same as when we initially heard that 19 men from Muslim countries high-jacked 4 airplanes and flew them into the Pentagon, Twin towers and a Pennsylvania field. How insensitive it was of us to demand that we “profile” young men of Middle Eastern decent between the ages of 18-24 in spite of the fact that they were young men of Middle Eastern decent between the ages of 18-24!
Today, three facts emerged about Hasan.
Fact No. 1 – Hasan was an advisor to the Obama transition team for the Department of Homeland Security. See page 19 of the report linked below:

Fact No. 2 – Hasan was reprimanded for actively “pushing Islam” on his patients or the technical term is “proselytizing”.

Fact No. 3 – Eye witness accounts revealed that Hasan yelled “Allah Akbar” before he opened fire on the helpless military men and women. According to WND -
“The soldier's father said his daughter was frantic and upset when she called him yesterday afternoon shortly after the incident at about 1:30 p.m. Central Time.
"She said, 'Dad, I'm OK. Don't worry, I'm OK.' And initially I said, 'What are you talking about?' She said, 'Haven't you heard?' And I said, 'No.' And she said, 'We've been attacked by terrorists.'"
The father told KSL News the group of soldiers his daughter was in were startled by gunfire.
"A person behind the counter stood up, and he said, 'Allahu Akbar!' And just opened up on everybody," the father said.
The father, a military veteran, said his daughter thought it was some sort of drill but quickly discovered otherwise.
"It was within a second or two she realized it was real, because the person right next to her was shot and killed instantly," he said.”

The one other, perhaps unrelated bit of information found was that Hasan attended College at Virginia Tech (another mass shooting site).
The Department of Homeland Security is “labeling” returning US Military Service Members as “right wing extremists” when they should be looking at Islamic Radicals that are in their own ranks and advising the President. The Cousin of Hasan called into Fox news to tell America that his Cousin was a “good American” and that the family was shocked by the news and did not hesitate to inform the public that Hasan was upset because of the harassment that his religious beliefs (Islam) and his Muslim heritage was opening him up to.
