The gun grabbers have their panties in a wad and true to form started their whining immediately. We of course heard from Dianne Feinstein immediately. This tragedy, as the details are unfolding, do not seem to fit the narrative, again.
Aaron Alexis is shown on security arriving on base. He had only a shotgun when he started. According to the FBI the shotgun was purchased legally and then illegally transported into DC. I think this is as good a place to start as any. First, we now know that this punk had mental health issues. His family has said that there were warning signs. You think? The two run ins with the law previous to the mass shooting had this guy shooting out the tires of an unarmed vehicle. The police report for this incident was found to be anger at some construction workers near his home. The family did say he had anger management issues. Next, he was questioned for discharging his pistol into his ceiling of his apartment that travelled through the apartment upstairs and out its ceiling just feet away from the neighbor. We learn now that he and this particular neighbor had run ins because Alexis didn't like the noise she was making. The police report said it was an accidental discharge, but looking in hindsight today I tend to think that he had another of those anger management issues. The big question is how this guy, with two firearm related incidents prior to purchasing this shotgun legally, was able to pass the FBI background check.
We had learned early on from press coverage that Alexis was armed with an AR-15 rifle, handguns and his shotgun. We now know that he obtained his weapons (other than the one he brought onto the base) from an unlocked, open firearms safe in the building. We also learned that the report that he had an AR-15 was incorrect. No AR-15. So, we have a deranged individual bringing a Biden suggested weapon onto a military base and proceeded with some "workplace violence".
The gun grabbers did not get an ideal profile from this shooter as he is black, Hindu and started his rampage with the easiest to obtain weapon on the open market. He wasn't White, Christian and armed to the teeth with automatic weapons. He was operating in one of the most gun restricted zones in this country, Washington DC. The base he hit was also a "gun free zone" which makes this a rampage in a "gun free zone, within a gun free zone". Instead of debating how the mental health system failed us we will get Piers Morgan, Dianne Feinstein, Gabby Giffords and probably Al Sharpton and company because he is black.

The elites are nervous!
There is a way to read between the lines when true conservatives look for those bell weather moments that the regular MSM reports the news in the slanted kind of way. In a way you have to really train yourself to find nuggets of truth in a field of lies. Take for instance the interview that Obama allowed this past weekend to one of his compliant media allies, George Stephanopoulis at This week with George Stephanopoulos. Obama blatantly lies when he tells George 80-90% of Americans agree Gun Control. Tell that to the Democrat controlled Senate. I realize that Democrats do not share, nor care about their constituents but when the country, as Obama indicates, wants gun control and the Senate has the chance to push through anything they want then why would they go against their constituents on gun control? The answer == reality, truth! Maybe that huge bloc of anti-gun Americans didn't get the message in Colorado.
The House of Representatives has a battle waging presently. It isn't Republicans vs. Democrats -- It's Conservatives vs. Republicans. More aptly, and between the lines, it should be Conservatives vs. Democrat Republicans. There has been much ado made about this internal battle being waged to wrest control away from liberal Republicans and give it back to the true Conservatives and tea party types. When Harry Reid indicated to his MSM buddies that he feels sorry for John Boehner you know liberal Republicans are on the ropes and by extension so are liberal Democrats.
What I am talking about is those pesky astro-turf, dangerous (according to Homeland Security) terrorist who want to drag us back to Jim Crow, Tea Party people. You remember them. The ones that clean up after their massive rallies that go unreported by the MSM. The same ones that the Democrats say are wholly made up by the Koch Brothers, bought and paid for. You know, Grandma and Grandpa extremists.
Well the cat is out of the bag and the Liberals are howling at the moon because they don't seem to have the answer to stopping their momentum (that purportedly doesn't exist). You see the seething anger every time that Brit speaks on Piers Morgan (CNN) about Gun Control. Many a conservative guest on his show has made him out to be the fool he is during interviews. Yet he keeps on a coming. Then you have the NY Times and their token Conservative David Brooks. Every now and then liberals lose their composure and their talking points get jumbled up because it is so difficult to keep track of the lies and deceptions. I will embed that "panel" discussion below. Here you do not need to read between any lines because he aptly explains what a Congressman should be doing. This is what Congressmen always do. Did the RNC & GOP take notes?
As many of my readers know from the various posts of mine regarding the historic recall elections in the Great State of Colorado, we won.....
After many months of standing on the sidelines observing the effort and fighting amongst themselves, the Colorado Republic National Committee quickly boasted "we won"! The National GOP is in for a rude awakening also. The GOP, led by John Boehner, have great disdain for the true conservatives that have taken many seats in the House. After the landslide victories brought forth by Tea Party aligned conservatives the ruling "old timers" in the GOP did the same thing, they took credit for the work, but did not lift a finger. To make matters worse, the GOP seems to dislike the Tea Party Conservatives as much as Harry Reid and the Democrats do. Congress is at war with conservatives sent to Washington to the peoples business and that includes stopping amnesty, Obamacare and the out of control spending orgies that both parties as guilty of.
Grass roots are springing up everywhere in the US just as it did in Colorado and threw out the two bums that thought they could act irresponsibly and without accountability. Well they know better now, don't they. Question is, does the GOP at the national level?
If the GOP and RNC national elites would just go back to their conservative roots and fight the Socialist as we did in Colorado then they would have a big favorability with the constituents. I am afraid that there will be many bums thrown out in the next election cycle on both sides of the isle. This is how democracy works, it is on display for the world to see and hopefully fear because the masses seem to be the last thing American politicians of late, fear.....

Here come the Racist Mysogynists
I have just a few thoughts to jot down as I watched Hillary accept her Liberty Medal on September 10th. I have never paid much attention to this award in the past. This particular medal is awarded to "men and women of courage and conviction". I find it laughable when the Nobel Peace prizes are awarded to those such as "Yassir Arafat; Jimmy Carter; Al Gore and, yes, Obama! The politicizing of once esteemed awards have become so patently absurd that the thought that anyone can keep a straight face while either presenting or receiving these awards must be tough. The same goes for Hillary and her medal awarded the day before the anniversary of her biggest failure, Benghazi. Everywhere you look these days you find Democrats failing upward. Her election to Senator followed by a failed run for President in 2008 would put to pasture most others. No, were are not that lucky. She is woman, hear her roar. There was an article posted at American Thinker who thought it was time to revisit some of her failures, scandals and ineptitude's. It is enlightening as can be. I thought I knew Hillary's skeletons pretty well, but as with most Democrats I tend to just ignore them after a certain point out of self sanity. The link to that article is here.
With her credentials nicely rounded out as Secretary of State she believes that she is now credible enough to claim international experience to become President. I shudder to think. First, for those who do not live in the Great State of Colorado here is what the language looked like on the recall ballots:
"the lawmakers were "guilty of contempt for 'the constitutional liberties of the people' and 'firearm manufacturers and for the rights of Colorado citizens."

What 9/11 accomplished
Remember.
On September 11, 2001 the United States of America was attacked by terrorists. This plan to kill many more than the 3,000 that it did was an act of war perpetrated by a non State terror entity called al-Qaeda whom publicly declared war against us. Many of us remember that day will clarity. But since it occurred over twelve years ago it is already an unknown to some of our children.
The attacks purpose was aimed at our way of life and to bring us to our knee's and expose us as the "paper tiger" that the previous 8 years of the Clinton Administration portraits. Instead of cowering and instead of talking as if the tragedy was a "law enforcement" issue, George W. Bush stood on the rubble with a mega phone and declared that America will hunt you down. The one great thing that Bush's leadership in this nations time of crisis did accomplish was to galvanize Americans. We were not democrats, republicans, black, white or illegal immigrants....We were Americans.
For the first time since WWII Americans enlisted to fight against those who attacked us. People like Pat Tillman laid down their careers, in this case an NFL player, and then laid down his life to bring to justice those that Bush declared we would smoke out of their caves.

Americans were outraged. The red, white and blue was hoisted over the corner store to the house on the corner. The red, white and blue was on bumper stickers, car antenna's and everywhere you looked. Silently, the Democrats were brooding because to counter this surge publicly was political as well as mortal suicide. So they played nice, for just a little while and even got on the bandstand. Just twelve years later the Democrats have turned this galvanization in alienation. The American flag is still flying, except where it is, it is attacked and vilified by those on the left and aligned with them.
When I said the Democrats played nice for awhile, it wasn't long for their true anti-American feelings came out. Not only were they behaving contrary to the new found galvanization of the majority of American sentiment for justice, they did so with malice of political gamesmanship. In early 2003, less than 2 years removed from the 9/11 attacks, democrat operatives within the DNC and supported by those in Congress sent out a "secret memo" from the head of the DNC with their plan. Basic excerpts were:
"In coming weeks, Democratic elected officials will question the President’s intentions on the pending war with Iraq. Writers and broadcasters friendly to the Democratic cause have already been provided talking points suggesting the war is about oil, not terrorism. “The talking points were developed before the end of last year and sent out to operatives and friendly media,” one Democratic consultant confided. “No Democratic member of Congress will question the President’s patriotism openly but we will use the media and other surrogates to raise doubts.”
--Claiming the Bush administration has “manufactured” evidence against Saddam Hussein and used that evidence to encourage Britain and other allies to join the American fight against Iraq; --Suggesting a wartime economy is the only way the administration can revive the country’s lagging economic situation. “It is clear that the current approval ratings of the administration are tied directly to strong American feelings toward traditional values,” the talking points say. “To counter this, doubt must be raised as to America’s true position within the world community and the true intent of the Bush administration in waging war.”
On 9/11 of last year the Democrats had the golden opportunity to Galvanize the American public again as the al Qaeda terror attacks on Benghazi was opening our national wounds by attacking on this day. Yet, this administration immediately sent out surrogates to claim the attacks were not terror but were the result of a anti-Muslim video made by an American. Now we also find that this Administration is siding with al-Qaeda fighters against Assad in Syria. This was on the heels of backing another al-Qaeda friendly government in Egypt.
This President and those who follow his lead need to be impeached and removed from office as their behavior, words and actions are aligned with those who want us dead. They are NOT protecting the citizens of this country and it is obvious they hate this country.
There was a couple of recent studies that show that patriotism and the American flag is synonymous with Conservatives only.
There was a recent article in April 2013 by Goal Auzeen Saedi, Phd at Psychology today titled "Do Racism, Conservatism, and low IQ, go hand in hand?". The opening line says it all and is indicative of intellectuals of the left --
"This morning as I logged onto Facebook, I came upon this image. Having followed the Boston marathon and MIT shooting coverage initially, I lost some interest when it came down to the “hunt.” As much as justice matters to me, so does tact and class, and the sensationalism of manhunts always leaves me uncomfortable. I also knew it would be a matter of time before the political rhetoric would change from the victims and wounded to the demographic factors of the suspects—namely race and religion. And alas, it has."
This author, though raised in Oregon, is obviously of this mindset of intellectual suicide politics. Just as in Ft. Hood, when an attack happens to be terror, demean those who say it is and call it something else, like say, racism or stereotyping. Don't mind that these terrorists in our midst are telling us loudly, clearly and unambiguously that they are.
