We deserve to default

So the Democrats and Republicans in the House and Senate are worried that the Government is going to shut down and worse -- lose it's credit rating as a result.

I go a bit of news for them, it deserves to default and by extension deserves to lose its credit rating.

This Government has become so unruly and undisciplined that it can aptly described as "spending like a drunk sailor"; "living beyond it's means"; "writing checks on a closed account" or a hundred other analogies.  We Americans do not have the luxury of printing money but this Government does.  This Government actually grows money on trees.  While Ted Cruz sits up there on Capital Hill and fights for sanity of Conservative traditional values like repealing a massive Government spending law that can only do one thing, over time -- implode upon itself from the sheer size of its own weight.

How long has it been since the US Senate, when under Democrat control, failed to live up to the Constitutional mandated law to pass a budget?  The very act of this law breaking has caused this country to devolve into lawless anarchy.  In order to rectify our financial woes from out of control spending our feckless leaders have legislated this oxymoronic "Continuing Resolution" stopgap.  The name of the CR is in itself a contraction of terms because a resolution does not continue. 

The leaders who have been branded as obstructionist are actually doing us a favor by actually obstructing the larger body politik from continuing its madness.  When we, as little people, write bad checks it affects our credit rating.  When we write bad checks that are so large that it becomes criminal, we go to jail.  It's time for those who have perpetuated this grand oxymoronic scheme to enjoy "three hots and a cot" and the loss of the people check books, for good.

A new CBS/NYT poll shows a rapid increase in respondents that align themselves with the movement.  Of course the MSM is either burying the story or outright lying that it is dying.  The 2014 midterms are quickly approaching and this supporter believes that there will be a monumental shift that will make the 2010 sweeps look like a dust buster.

King of Disgust, part II

Yesterday, I posted "the King of Disgust" when Rep. Peter King told reporters --

 "He thinks and states openly that those who follow Cruz are, er, following a false leader.  While King says the majority of Cruz followers are good people, they are a "dark strain in the American political psyche" who support the Constitution."

Yesterday, I only lumped him in with other RINO's that do not agree with Cruz.  Today, I think the real reason was to attempt to diminish Cruz's star power.  The reason that King went to these extraordinary measures to trash Cruz and those who agree with him is because King wants to be "King".  Translated -- President.  In fact, he is the first GOP member to do so.  On September 8th.  If true, the level of disgust for King, with me, is beyond the pale.  It means that King, for personal political reasons trashed Cruz's stance against Obamacare and his tea party roots.  There are no words to describe such a vile and contemptible individual.

What's in a name?

Ted Cruz has grabbed "control" of the media narrative with his filibuster of Obamacare vote in the Senate over night.  The Main Stream Media and a whole host of establishment Republicans do not like the fresh face and motor mouth of conservative values.  Well, of course, we can add every liberal and democrat to that group.  But combined, the opposition to Cruz is by any means, a minority.

His name alone provides catchy bi-lines for journalists.  We have seen "Cruz Control"; Cruz'n to Victory and my favorite "Cruz Missile" - Armed, Activated and streaking straight at the Problem.

It's no wonder that establishment GOP'er's hate him.  He has called them "a bunch of squishes" on gun control.  Such language, tsk tsk.  The hateful rhetoric coming at him from all those in the minority are bordering on deranged, personal and disgusting yet he resists from lowering himself to their standard.

The "American Prospect" aptly states -- That, in a nutshell, is Ted Cruz’s political career: through some combination of luck, bravado, and talent, the man always seems to wind up getting what he wants.

This was in response to James Carville who boldly stated -- He was one of main points of discussion on Sunday talk shows, and James Carville raved that he was “the most talented and fearless Republican politician” in the last 30 years.

The truth of the matter is the reason Cruz is "getting what he wants" and bringing so much ire to establishment Republicans and democrats is because he is in line with average Americans who do not want Obamacare, gun control and just about anything Obama.  He is the last line of defense in our honor.  We love him for it.

It's official we're all terrorists

Remember when the DHS sent out law enforcement bulletins describing citizens who believe in smaller government, oppose Obamacare, support the constitution as potential homegrown terrorist extremist. 

In March 2013, the Pew Research center conducted a poll about trust in the US Government.  It found that 3/4 of those responded distrust the US Government.  That is roughly 7 in 10 Americans.

Yesterday, we saw a new Gallup poll asking if the US Government has too much power.  6 in 10 respondents said -- YES. 

Couple this with Congressional favor ability polling which put their popularity below Colonoscopies and Root Canals.

Obamacare, or the support for it, has fallen to below a 40% favor ability rating.  Once again 6 in 10 Americans want no part of it.

Of course Obama makes everything about him as he came out in a speech and bemoaned that the "Republicans are trying to mess with me" over the stripping of Obamacare from the CR. 

Obama's approval rating is down to 45%.

Well, I guess we're all extremist terrorists in the eyes of our Federal Government now.
