The erasing of Terrorism - not by eradication, by changing the defenition

First change was Obama outlawing the term enemy combatant (even though the administration has yet adopted a new nomenclature to describe them). The term was too inflamatory and insensitive to all terrorists and their organizations and to prove it, Obama has given Hamas $800 million dollars to rebuild Gaza as a gesture of friendship.

Now, Homeland Security Secretary (Janet Napolitano) has communicated to the world that we no longer use the phrase "terrorism"! We will instead refer to acts of islamic terror as "man-made disasters"! I kid you not. In a recent interview given to Spiegel Online she explains the administrations view that "it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur".

It is quite worrysome that the former Democratic Governor of the State of Arizona was against building the border fence and was on record with her comment "Show me a 50-foot fence, and I'll show you a 51-foot ladder." The Obama administration is moving as quickly as possible to radically change the dynamics of the war on terror to something akin to a sleep over pillow fight. God help us all.
